FASHION: DOROTHY PERKINS STYLE ESSENTIALS (STYLING COMPETITION ENTRY )

Didn't really see this year went off so fast and it's almost June again ! It's pretty exciting to welcome Spring/ Summer season since this is the best time to dress up! Don't you think?
This time round, Dorothy Perkins, one of women's fashion retailer based in UK, show their latest S/S 14 collection namely Dorothy Perkins Style Essentials, where the collection consists of 10 amazing items listed as below.
1. The Statement Shirt

3. The Jumpsuit

10. The Lace Top
As for me, I like to invest on more versatile items like number 3 ( The Jumpsuit) and number 10 (The Lace Top). Why ? Because you can play around with it and mix them with hundreds different styles without even make it as obvious as other investment pieces! Especially if you buy them in their neutral color like black, or nude , pastels or navy.
You can make them stand out easily by adding more bold colors to compliment the pieces like I show you below (on my lace top look). Or keep things simple by adding more statement pieces like a basic black-zipper accent jacket (on my jumpsuit look). I mean, there are many endless options out there for this pieces with different colors, cuts, prints, and style !
These two items are the real investment piece since you can easily wore them anytime, even when you're traveling and still want to look stylish. Because you can't pack too many items and have some space for new clothes in the luggage, am I right?
So, here's my traveling style wearing Dorothy Perkins Style Essentials item-inspired clothing.
